Chili Cook-Off
Thursday, March 5th 6:30 – 7:30
Think you make the BEST chili? Put it to the test! Come join the PTA for a fun evening of friendly competition! This event will directly follow the school’s Parent Teacher Fellowship – make sure you drop in there first at 6:00.
Immediately following we’ll head over to the dining room – $5 for unlimited tastings and 3 votes. In a fun twist… you can bring some extra cash to help sway the vote your way! All proceeds from this night go directly to celebrating our amazing teachers and staff at our April Staff Appreciation Week.

Discovery Days is our special week-long event featuring clubs, activities, and enrichment opportunities for students. Here are the clubs on this year’s schedule:

Cooking Club – Monday, February 2nd 3:00-4:30; Grades K-6
Offered by Ashley Wood
Learn to cook fresh pasta and more in cooking club! Students will learn the basics, get some hands-on time in the kitchen and finally end with tasting their creations!
Art & Design – Monday, February 2nd 3:00-4:00; Grades 7-12

Let your creativity shine! Join us for an afternoon of fun, where you’ll design, create and explore your artistic side. All supplies are provided – just bring your imagination and get ready to make something amazing!
Flag Football – Tuesday, February 3rd 3:00-4:30; Grades 4-8

Get ready to run, pass and score! Perfect for players of all skill levels, this exciting session focuses on teamwork, strategy and fun. Learn the basics, sharpen your moves and enjoy friendly games with classmates.
Zumba – Wednesday, February 4th 3:00-3:30; Grades K-6

Get moving and grooving at our one-day Zumba class! This high-energy session combines dance, fitness and fun to upbeat music. It’s the perfect way to stay active, build confidence and have a blast with friends. No dance experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to move!
Fun with Fingerprints – Wednesday, February 4th 3:00-4:00; Grades 2-6
Offered by Katie Holtz
Come learn all about the science of fingerprints! In this hands-on activity, you will get to take your own fingerprints and help solve a fingerprints mystery. Come to learn something new and have some fun!

BattleBots – Thursday, February 5th 3:00-4:30; Grades K-8
Offered by Kristel, Ethan & Grady Thomas
Calling all aspiring Bot Drivers for a SMASH-ing good time! Student drivers will report after school for an extensive (5 minute) training on how to operate their bot of choice. They will then complete a crash course driving test to receive their “Ready for Battle” license. Following a brief snack break to refuel their engines, drivers will compete in a tournament-style competition to determine who will win the title of Ultimate Battle Bot Champion.
Fun with Fingerprints – Thursday, February 5th 3:00-4:00; Grades 7-12
Offered by Katie Holtz
Come learn all about the science of fingerprints! You will take and identify your own 10 fingerprints, learn how to “lift” prints from glass, and even solve a mystery using fingerprint evidence. Come to learn something new while you try a little bit of hands-on forensic science!
Lego Club – Friday, February 6th 3:00-4:30; Grades K-8

Unleash your creativity with LEGOs! Kids of all ages can dive into an afternoon of fun and imagination, building exciting projects, solving challenges and exploring teamwork. Whether you’re a master builder or just love to create, this hands-on session is perfect for sparking creativity and making new friends. All materials are provided – just bring your enthusiasm!
